# @shihaoshen/dsh-project-agent-instructions

A [DeepSeek Harness (DSH)](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@deepseek-ai/dsh) Cordis plugin that loads project-level agent instruction files and injects them into every agent's system prompt.

By default it reads **`.dsh/AGENTS.md`** from the session working directory, walking up through ancestor directories until a match is found. Additional relative paths can be configured on the plugin's settings page.

## Features

- Injects the nearest `.dsh/AGENTS.md` (project root and ancestors supported) into the system prompt as a dedicated section.
- Custom additional read paths, relative to the project root.
- `.dsh/AGENTS.md` is always included and cannot be removed from the read list.
- Configurable size limit with UTF-8-safe truncation (default 32768 bytes).
- File watching: edits to the instruction file are picked up automatically without restarting.
- Settings page in the DSH Web UI (Plugins → this plugin), changes apply live.

## Install

In the DSH Web UI, open **Plugins → Add plugin** and install:

Or with the CLI plugin manager against your profile.

Restart DSH after installation so the client module loads.

## Usage

Create `.dsh/AGENTS.md` in your project root:

```

Its content is automatically added to the system prompt of every agent started with that project as its working directory (or any subdirectory).
