# dsh-skill-usage
> Sidebar skill hub for DeepSeek Harness Web GUI.
> DeepSeek Harness
A DSH plugin that lives at the bottom of the sidebar:
- **Shows the current skill** — the most recently used skill of the active
session, plus the full first-use history.
- **Enables skills for the conversation** — pick one or several skills from
the session's available catalog and enable them at once. Each selected skill
is shipped as a `/name` gesture in a single prompt, so the host injects its
instructions and the model can use it for the whole conversation.
## 🐾 Star us!
> Hey there, lovely human! 👋 If this little plugin made your DSH a tiny bit
> nicer to use, would you take one second to drop a **⭐ Star** on the repo?
> Every star is a cookie 🍪 that powers this small plugin — with enough of
> them, it can keep getting stronger and cuter!
>
> Pretty please, the star is just up there in the corner (´。• ω •。`) ♡
>
> —— a tiny plugin that works hard on every line of code 🐱✨
> 嘿,亲爱的小伙伴!🐾 如果你觉得这个小插件让你的 DSH 用起来更顺手了,
> 能不能花一秒钟,给仓库点一颗 **⭐ Star** 呀?
> 你的每一颗星星,都是给这个小插件充电的 **小饼干** 🍪💖
> 有了它们,我才有动力继续修炼,变得更强更好用!
>
> 拜托拜托~星星就在右上角,点一下下就好啦 (´。• ω •。`) ♡

## How it works
The plugin registers a `skillUsage` session projection (a pure fold over the
session log) that observes `skill` tool calls and user-explicit `/name`
invocations, folding them into a `{ active, history }` wire value.
The browser half reads that projection for the current session through the
global `useSessions` seat (the host folds projection values into list rows) and
renders a trigger in the sidebar's `sidebar.footer.action` band. Opening the
panel lists the used skills and the session's available skill catalog; the
Enable action builds one `/name …` prompt, so the host's tool-skill boundary
injects every selected body into the conversation.
## Install
### From the plugin store
```bash
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-skill-usage
```
### Local (self-authored)
```bash
dsh plugin --profile web add /path/to/dsh-skill-usage
```
## Usage
**No configuration needed.** Once installed, the skill trigger appears at the
bottom of the sidebar. Before any skill use, the badge shows a generic label;
after the model loads a skill (or you invoke one via `/name`), it shows the
current skill. Clicking the badge opens the panel:
- **本会话已使用 / Used this session** — the skills used so far.
Available skills** — the session's user-invocable catalog, with
checkboxes.
(N) / Enable (N)** — send the selected skills (one or several) as a
`/name …` prompt; the host injects their instructions and they stay available
for the rest of the conversation.
## Build
```bash
With the hub plugin installed, ask your agent to install it by name — it resolves the same plan shown here.
- This package builds from source on install. pnpm will ask you to allow its build script — that is permission to run the package’s code on your machine, outside the agent sandbox. Only allow sources you trust.
- This source has no pinned commit, so a later push upstream changes what installs. Prefer pinning a commit.
