# dsh-pdfslim — PDF Compression for DeepSeek Harness

Bring production-grade **PDF compression** to DeepSeek Harness. This bundle wires the
[api.pdfslim.app](https://api.pdfslim.app) MCP server (Cloudflare Worker + MuPDF engine,
~93% average compression) into your DSH profile as three tools:

## Install

```sh

dsh plugin --profile <name> add ./dsh-pdfslim
dsh --profile <name>
```

The upstream MCP server is hosted and always-on — no local engine, no dependencies.

## Usage example

> "Compress this PDF to under 1MB: ./report.pdf"

The agent calls `mcp__pdfslim__compress_pdf` and returns the compressed file.

- **Anonymous**: 20 free calls/day per IP — perfect for trying it out.

- Files up to 100MB. Gigantic files (100MB+) are handled by the web app: [pdfslim.app](https://pdfslim.app).

When the free quota runs out, the API itself tells the AI where to go (buy a key or use the free web app) — no dead ends.
