# DSH Model Groups Independent client plugin targeting DeepSeek Harness 0.1.1-rc.2. Uses the existing `modelDirectories` service and overrides only the `conversation.input.model` slot. Uninstalling restores the built-in model picker; `/model` remains owned by the built-in plugin. Platforms keep their original provider IDs; expandable manufacturer groups are presentation only. Unknown model IDs remain under Other/platform routing. Thinking controls come from the selected model's host metadata, not a hardcoded set of capabilities. No credentials are handled by this plugin. The dialog uses the browser's native top layer to avoid clipping by theme containers. The original community skin and marketplace are not replaced. Install with the DSH profile plugin mechanism. Pin a compatible release and verify in an isolated profile before upgrading. This does not promise compatibility with arbitrary future DSH releases. After installing the package into the desired profile, add `dsh-model-groups` to that profile's `dsh.profile.bundles`, OR insert the entry from `cordis.patch.yml` into its profile patch. Do not do both. Do not disable the built-in model-selection plugin: it supplies the shared directory service and `/model` command. Validation: `npm test`. Integration checks on DSH 0.1.1-rc.2 covered manufacturer disclosure, exact provider/model routing, native top-layer placement and Escape dismissal. The plugin was also loaded from an installed macOS EAC profile and inspected through that live server in Chromium. Native WKWebView-specific regression and future DSH versions are not certified. Provenance: this is a separate client extension, not an official DSH plugin and not a replacement skin. It uses the open-source DSH slot and model-directory APIs. The existing EAC community marketplace remains unchanged.
