# dsh-compressio — Image Compression & Conversion for DeepSeek Harness

Bring production-grade **image compression and conversion** to DeepSeek Harness. This bundle wires the
[api.compressio.cc](https://compressio.cc) MCP server (Cloudflare Worker + Squoosh/JSQuash WASM encoders)
into your DSH profile as four tools:

| Tool (as seen by the model) | What it does |

| `mcp__compressio__compress_image` | Compress JPEG/PNG to a target size/quality |
| `mcp__compressio__convert_image` | Convert between JPEG / PNG / WebP formats |
| `mcp__compressio__optimize_image` | Lossless PNG optimization (OxiPNG) |
| `mcp__compressio__inspect_image` | Image metadata: format, dimensions, file size |

## Install

```sh
git clone https://github.com/zhaoyaqi18/dsh-compressio
dsh plugin --profile <name> add ./dsh-compressio
dsh --profile <name>
```

The upstream MCP server is hosted and always-on — no local engine, no dependencies.

## Usage example

> "Compress this photo to under 200KB: ./photo.jpg"

The agent calls `mcp__compressio__compress_image` and returns the compressed file.

When the free quota runs out, the API itself tells the AI where to go (buy a key or use the free web app) — no dead ends.
