# dsh-deepseek-account

A **DeepSeek account plugin** for [DeepSeek Harness](https://github.com/sunyuhuirong/deepseek-harness). It adds a wallet button next to Settings in the web GUI sidebar; clicking it shows a balance card for the configured account, and a `deepseek_balance` tool lets the agent query the balance itself.

**Balance display only.** API keys are never stored by this plugin — they stay in the harness Settings under the `DEEPSEEK_API_KEY` credential.

## Install

Requires DeepSeek Harness (Node `^22.19` or `>=24`, `~/.dsh` profiles).

dsh plugin add @deepseek-ai/dsh-deepseek-account --profile web
```

Then configure the account in Settings (the plugin reads the existing `DEEPSEEK_API_KEY` credential; no extra setup).

The plugin is developed inside the harness monorepo (`packages/extensions/deepseek-account`); the standalone repo mirrors the same source with npm-installable dependency ranges. The peer dependencies (client runtime, slots, etc.) are provided by the harness at runtime.

## How it works

- **Host half** (`src/index.ts`, `src/balance.ts`): registers the `deepseek_balance` tool, which reads the account credential via the harness credentials service and calls the DeepSeek balance API.
- **Client half** (`src/client/`): registers into the `settings.triggerExtra` slot (a wallet button next to Settings) and renders the balance card popover.
